No Mass for April

We are sorry to announce that there will be no Traditional Latin Mass for the  month of April.  Father Hasser sends his apologies for the cancellation.

Sacred Music Practicum

The St. John Bosco Latin Mass Community is hosting a Sacred Music Practicum on Saturday, January 30 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cicero, Indiana www.sacredheartcicero.org.  The workshop is the first of a series to be given by Father Fromageot, FSSP.  The day will begin with Low Mass at 9 AM and the workshop will begin at 10 AM.  The cost is free; donations will be accepted.

September Latin Mass to be offered by Fr. Magiera

Father Michael W. Magiera, associate pastor of Holy Rosary Parish in Indianapolis, will be offering the Latin Mass on Sunday, September 27, 2009 at 5 PM at St. Ann’s in Lafayette.  We encourage all to bring a dish to share for the pitch-in dinner afterward.

Father Magiera is a priest of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter, which has as its apostolate the spreading of the Tridentine Mass.  Father Magiera answers your questions about the Latin Mass here.

Changes for July and August

Please note that there will be no pitch-in dinner after the TLM on Sunday, July 26.  St. Ann’s parish will be using Memorial Hall for their annual Parish Picnic.

We would like to extend a heartfelt congratulations to Father Maurice Miller who celebrates his 60th ordination anniversary on Sunday!

The date of the August Mass has been moved from the 4th Sunday to the 5th Sunday, which is August 30.  (Father Hasser will be on his annual retreat on the 4th Sunday that month.)  Mass will still be at 5 PM at St. Ann’s and there will be a pitch-in dinner afterward.

We are looking for volunteers to assist with various tasks.   Please consider offering your assistance so that we may continue to offer the Extraordinary Form of the Mass in the Lafayette Deanery.  Please call Jeremy Sheiko at 477-5864 or email at UnaVoceLafayetteIndiana@gmail.com.
